Jar of Hearts

I went op-shopping today looking for accessories to use with my Hermione costume and I found this amazing teapot! I love it so much!

I don't actually drink tea but I plan to use it for the Jar of Hearts i'm going to make when the Craftster swap finally begins.

I learned to live half alive
And now you want me one more time
And who do you think you are
Runnin' around leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart.

TOW the tray became something else

A few years ago I was given a FRIENDS themed tray in a swap. I never used it often because I didn't want it to get scratched! But that meant that I had an awesome tray that was hidden away for most of the year.

The addition of a few hooks was all it needed and now I have a lovely jewelry holder which I get to look at every single day!!

Here is is hanging on my wall:

Thank you!! I still love it so much!

We provide...

From the moment it first aired Leverage quickly became one of my favorite shows. It's one of the few shows I actually buy in itunes since i'm not sure that it will EVER air in Australia!

It doesn't seem to have picked up a huge following in the crafting community although there has been some mild chatter about a Craftster swap. That said, I still have no idea what to craft! I think it might be time for a marathon - I know that there's some amazing moments that need to be immortalized through I can't seem to think of any.

Any Leverage fans out there with suggestions?

Crafting withdrawal

I have been so busy with school and life lately that I haven't had much time for crafting or swapping. I'm having a month break soon so I plan to catch up on many crafty things.

I've been meaning to make a TARDIS SWEET TARDIS xstitch for about a year now. It's quite the overdue birthday present so that will be near the top of the list.

Pattern available from easy seller: oregonstream

For myself, I plan on finishing the Gryffindor scarf i'm crocheting to wear to the midnight screening of The Deathly Hallows.

In progress shot of scarf.

Does anyone know how I can stop picking up stitches all the time? It's a problem I have every time I make a scarf and other than counting stitches each row (which I do NOT want to do!) i'm not sure how to stop. I'm seriously considering dropping by an old ladies crochet group at church one day and begging them for help!
