Day 28 - summertime

It's very difficult to think about summertime when I am currently experiencing a very cold winter! However, I am going to be living vicariously through my little visitor, Gus T. Turkey, while we spends the next three months on vacation in Florida!

Day 26 - love

I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOOOVE my new phone!

It is a Samsung Galaxy S. I desperately wanted to get the S2 - the new model which has just been released, but I just couldn't justify the $25 extra per month!

Day 24 - orange

I love the colours in this photo. Fresh fruit is just so pretty - I wish it tasted as good as it looks! Sadly my taste buds are not really a fan of anything healthy, with the exception of red delicious apples.

Today's challenge really helped me to recognise the lack of orange in my life, something that needs to be remedied asap. I was very close to giving up since I couldn't find anything orange anywhere!

Note: No oranges were harmed during this photo session. And let's not talk about the mandarins...

I'm late, i'm late for a very important date

I am getting incredibly behind on Amber's photo challenge but between school, work and hosting the Round 14 LV swap i've just had no time to upload them. This week is going to be even more hectic but things should have calmed down by next weekend.

At the moment i'm distracting myself from writing my lessons for school by instead filling in the questionnaire for the Bones swap on Craftster. It's proving incredibly hard to narrow down on favorite episodes and quotes. There are just so many and I feel like i'm forgetting to mention all the best ones!! Help me please!

Bones: Objectively i'd say i'm very smart.

Day 10: High Angle

I'm not sure why i've been on a macro/close-up kick for this entire challenge but at least today's theme changed that. And Bean gets to star in yet another photo.

Look at all the effort she has to put in to climb just a few stairs. Those poor short legs!

Day 9: Morning

I hate this photo. Unfortunately I only just remembered today's challenge minutes before the morning was over, so in a desperate rush raced to the one thing I am guaranteed to look at every morning - the clock on our oven. It never fails to remind me that I am late either for school, work or some other event.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better...

Day 8: Feet

My dog loves nothing more than to sit on my Mother's feet and eat cardboard toilet rolls.

Day 7: Red

When I think, red, I think of the beautiful wallet my sister gave me that I use and look at everyday.

Day 5: Guilty Pleasure

My friends have no idea that i'm a complete campfire junkie. I don't know what they'd say if they found out I watch Youtube just to learn new songs to sing...

What a perfect time to have this theme on a day when we made a massive fire to get rid of the dead wood at our campsite! Is it weird for me to be thinking how beautiful these flames are?

And just for fun here's a shot of our extremely large and HOT fire! It took a ridiculously long time to die down.

I'm a little late but I just discovered Amber Fischer's 30 day photography challenge through Spooky Pooky's blog. I love Amber's photos - and this challenge sounds like a lot of fun!

I'm a few days behind but that's okay. I always am :)

Day 3: Sweet

I've never seen a s'more made like this before (biscuits on the stick?!) and it fascinated me. Marshmallows, biscuits, Mars Bar and white chocolate. Could there be anything sweeter? The best thing about Guides has to be the food made on the fire. It's going to be a good weekend!

Day 2: Yellow

All the yellow in my life right now is Gryffindor gold. This is the tie i'm making to wear to The Deathly Hallows.
